This is so cool!
I'm not into cooking at all. I usually leave that part of the dometicity to Martin. Recently though Martin started a new job and our schedules have changed drastically. In order for one of us to be home kind of early to cook dinner, help Wille with his homework etc, I leave for work at 6.30 in the morning and am back home at 4.30 pm which leaves me as the chef for the evening. So far my cooking skills have stretched to fish fingers, hamburgers, tacos and all that jazz. Not Micheline guide material as you can understand.

One of Martins new collegues told him about this great service where you basically subscribe to weekly dinners. We're trying it out for the first week. On Monday we received two grocery bags full of what you see above. Everything you need for five complete dinners for four. Since there's just the three of us Martin can bring the leftovers to work as lunch the next day. Included in the bags are the recipes needed for cooking the dinners in 30 minutes. Most of the groceries are ecological and it's all really healthy food.
I was away on a long business lunch yesterday so I couldn't face cooking so soon after and we're a day behind but so far I've cooked a chicken dish, a fish dish and tomorrow we're having pasta pesto with halloumi and tomato sallad. Today I even cooked a vegetable I didn't know existed!
It's such a great idea and I feel really healthy three days into the project. I consider it a project as I'll probably never become interested in cooking. You have to eat so you have to cook is my motto.
The service is called Middagsfrid for any of you Swedes out there who might be interested.
