Fern, Ladys mantle, Hosta and Ivy
When I started out gardening ten years ago I was a complete novice and I only chose to plant flowers. I soon realised that it was difficult to get the lush borders I wanted so I started to look around other gardens and realised that you need plants and greenery to get the lushness I was after.
Since then I've learned a lot and now have some plants in my garden which I wasn't very keen on to begin with but which have now become my favourite garden "staples". I have lots of them in my borders and they do provide that very green feeling I was after.
Green is good! In many ways.
