Martin keeps saying that if everybody in the whole world blogged or had a Flickr account there would be peace on earth. He is, and so am I of course, overwhelmed at all the friendliness and acts of kindness he's seen me experience since I started posting photos on Flickr and more recently started blogging.
One such experience was brought on by my new sweet friend Lindzi. Lindzi is blogger, scrapper and cardmaker and is doing a great job of renovating her 60's house in the south of Sweden.
We "met" online quite recently (not yet irl) and as I commented on a post on her blog about Ali Edwards' inspired butterfly art she offered to make me some as I couldn't find a large enough punch. Along with the butterlies she sent the cutest card and the best bag of scrap goodies. Just like that! Imagine getting that in your mail! Amazing.
It took me a while to find a deep edge frame for it but I found one at last in an unexpected place . It's the largest of a four piece set at a local Swedish store at only 85 kronor (14 dollars).
Now I just have to figure out where to put it.
Hanging against the green wall?
Standing in a cubby in the home office?
Hanging in my craft area?
Any which way, thank you so much Lindzi! And thank you so much www.
