We moved into our house almost exactly ten years ago. It was an attractive (not) shade of mustard with brown accent. We've spruced it up a little since then.
It hadn't been lived in for 6 month so the garden was pretty shabby. Weeds were growing everywhere. Not anymore.

There was a flesh colored limestone path leading through the whole garden taking up most of it. I can't stand pink stone so we posted an ad saying they were free of charge if removed. We got rid of them all. Today not a pink stone in sight .
There wasn't much in the garden to begin with, besides weeds, as the previous owners had a summerhouse and spent the growing season there. There was, and is still, though a plum tree, with delicious Victoria plums which I make jam out of every year.
Flammentanz roses and Montana clematis are now climbing the trellis we added to the side of the house.
Yay! 10 years! We've come a long way, still loving our house and garden very much.
For those of you may have just found my blog and want more you can find additional before and after photos of the exterior here and interior here. Enjoy!
