Sunny and Kristie are curious about how I store my clothes. Please join them on the guided tour :)
Martin and I share a wardrobe. It's actually part of the room before you enter the bedroom and the same room where my craft space is. We built three huge sliding doors out of MDF which I painted. They are hung on gliders which roll on a track which we mounted to the ceiling.
The shelves are simply raw MDF boards which I've edged with some wood trim. They are sitting on simple metal vertical thingys with brackets similar to the Elfa system but a what seems to be discontinued cheapo version from IKEA.

I love fashion but I'm not interested in clothes if you see what I mean. My wardrobe consists of bulk buys. If I like something I get several of the same. I have about ten of the same polo shirts, there are three white, three black and some "colorful", greens, blues and greys... The thing is, I get up at five in the morning, ride my bike to work and when I get back home I spend time with my family and work on all my projects. There's just no time left for thinking about what to wear tomorrow.
Here's the middle part of the wardrobe. It's where Martin and my clothes meet :)

Martins side. Color coordinated shirts, ofcourse. Sorry, can't help myself.

All hangers are the same. I can't stand wire hangers and mismatched ones so I went to IKEA and got a zillon of the same. It makes such a difference!
On the floor on Martin's side there are three baskets, one for socks, one for unmentionables and one for t-shirts. The on the floor solution isn't perfect for me, but Martin says it works so for the time being...
Ok, I'm going to get a refill on my wine before Navy CIS starts so you'll have to tune in tomorrow for some more.
Edit: Here's a tutorial on how to paint the pattern on the doors. Thanks Courtney!
