Now it IS fall . I was a little premature last time... But now leaves are getting red and the air is getting cool. Me like!
Here are some reasons why the change into fall is my favourite change of seasons.
I'm allowed to stay indoors. Not that anyone ever tells me I can't stay inside, but with the warmer weather I always get the feeling I have to go outside although I'd rather be in. I love the fall colors. Outdoors. I'm a nester if you hadn't noticed already. I love how cozy fall is compared to summer. Gimme a cup of tea, a fleece blanket, my flannel jammies, my socks and slippers, a magazine, a tv show, some scones and lit candles and I'm a very happy camper. Heavier clothing feels good after the confusion of what to wear in between the really warm and the luke warm weather. I pretend I will have less to do. No garden to tend to other than raking leaves. The truth though is that I have just as much to do but it's stuff I've been saving for fall, like photoalbums and travel scrap books. Now I long to do it, in the same way I long to work in the garden in the winter. It's getting closer to the holidays! My favourite is Christmas, or rather the month before, all the preparations, all the crafts and all the decorating. Can not wait! Although I've loved riding my bike I kind of like catching the bus, that way I can also catch up on my reading. I'm into murders and other crime :) By the way here's a quirk I forgot to mention. I walk at a very fast pace from the bus and continue reading my book while walking. I've never tripped!
