Yay! Our first string of lights is up! That's not what this post is about though. I'm sorting out my sewing supplies and here's how I organize my buttons.
White's my favourite color so those go in a jar out in the open. Ofcourse. Not upstairs though, down in my sewing area but it's so dark down there now I have to take photos upstairs in what little light there is up here.
I got these little milky white boxes with compartments and sorted all the buttons by color. Warm color ranging from yellow to dark brown go in one.
Cool blues, greens, greys and black in another. The darker mother of pearl ones go in here too.
Metal buttons I keep in a heavy duty zip lock bag. Would have loved to divide them up too in another box but they won't all fit in the little drawer unit I'm pimping behind the scenes.
