I've been wanting to do a little makeover on the noticeboard on the inside of the kitchen cabinet. So to this from this it only takes a few simple steps.
These are the bare bones of the bought noticeboard with an added lick of white paint to the frame. The first time I recovered it I simply pryed the frame off from the board. It was partly glued on so I used an exacto kife to cut in between the frame and board.
Because the fabric I switched to is a seethrough linen I first covered the board in white fabric but if you have a darker or denser fabric this step is not necessary.
After adding my linen on top of the white I stapled the board to the frame at regular intervals using slightly longer than regular staples which is enough to hold it in place. If your frame comes apart at the corners after taking the board off you can add a bit of wood glue and a couple staples while pushing the two sides together. Turn around. Ready to hang!
