The door has so far sported three colors and three windows; brown with stained glass, red with DIY privacy film and now black with double glazing and frosted letters. New color coming up, still unsure which one. White?

There was a stone driveway down from the street to the garage which covered most of the garden. Since we have no car and even if we did have a car we have no intention to drive through our garden or park under our livingroom so the driveway had to go. A very successful Blocket/Craigslist ad yielded hoards of pople invaded our garden and tore up every single slab. All gone within a few hours.

The lower patio as just a mound of dirt with uneven slabs on top and wonky slab steps. Today there's wood decking and trellis sides with ivy.

This is an area still in progress. This is where we did some digging this summer and where there will hopefully be gravel come spring.

The small stone tiles are quite nice but it took forever for them to dry up and there were weeds growing and it was really uneven. We removed them but salvalged them so if we want we can use them elsewhere. Oh, and check out the lovely awning. When it was out the livingroom felt like a dungeon, so dark.
Decking down and a white awning up which even when fully rolled out still lets light into the livingroom.

The stone slabs were everywhere and the weeds where growing wildly in between and next to them. We leveled this area on the south side, built the frames for the apple trees and laid gravel. It's now virtually maintenance free and a pretty nice part of the yard as opposed to the eyesore it used to be.
So that friends, concludes the Before, in Between and After Tour of the Larsson residence. I hope you've enjoyed it. I know I have.
