Paper, fabric, paint and glue, mostly at the kitchen table.
Small things made in an afternoon: covered buttons, painted plates, decorations that came out of a box of oddments rather than a shop.
Very little of this needed special equipment. Most of it needed a marker pen and a willingness to accept that the first attempt would be crooked.
